WPNT⁽ⁱ⁾ ² Then He said to them: “The harvest is indeed great, but the workers are few; therefore pray to the Lord of the harvest that He may send out workers into His harvest. ³ “Go! Yes, I am sending you out like lambs among wolves. ⁴ Do not carry a purse, nor a knapsack, nor sandals; and greet no one along the road. ⁵ Into whatever house you enter, first say, ‘Peace to this house’. ⁶ If a son of peace is there, your peace will rest upon him; if not, it will return to you. ⁷ Remain in that same house, eating and drinking what they offer, because the worker is worthy of his wages. Do not move around from house to house. ⁸ “And into whatever town you enter, and they receive you, eat the things that are set before you. ⁹ Heal the sick therein and say to them, ‘The Kingdom of God has come near to you’. ¹⁰ But into whatever town you enter, and they do not receive you, go out into its streets and say: ¹¹ ‘Even the dust of your town that clings to us we wipe off against you. Nonetheless know this, that the Kingdom of God has come near to you.’
