John 1:1-5 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

WNT⁽ⁱ⁾ ¹ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. ² He was in the beginning with God. ³ All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing that exists came into being. ⁴ In Him was Life, and that Life was the Light of men. ⁵ The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overpowered it.
