1 Peter 3:2-7

VIN(i) 2 when they see how pure and reverent you are. 3 Your beauty should not come from outward adornment such as braided hair or gold jewelry or fine clothes, 4 but from the inner disposition of your heart, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is precious in God’s sight. 5 For so of old the holy women who hoped in God adorned themselves. They were submissive to their own husbands, 6 Thus Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: and you are her daughters, if you do right, and do not give way to fear. 7 Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with honor as the weaker partner, since you are joint heirs of the grace of life, so that your prayers will not be hindered.
