Revelation 7:9-14

Thomson(i) 9 After this I looked and behold! a great multitude, which no one could number, of every nation and of tribes and peoples and tongues standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clad in white robes; and palm branches in their hands; 10 and they cried with a loud voice, saying, "To our God who is sitting on the throne and to the Lamb be ascribed this salvation!" 11 Whereupon all the angels who stood around the throne and the elders and the four animate beings prostrated themselves before the throne and worshipped God, 12 saying, "Amen! the blessing and the glory and the wisdom and the thanks and the honour and the power and the majesty be to our God for ages of the ages! Amen." 13 'Then one of the elders addressed me, saying, "Who are these who are clad in white robes? and whence came they?" 14 And I said to him, "Sir, thou knowest" Then he said to me, "These are they who have come out of great affliction and have washed their robes and made them white by the blood of the Lamb.
