Revelation 7:9-14

Moffatt(i) 9 After that I looked, and there was a great host whom no one could count, from every nation and tribe and people and tongue, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clad in white robes, with palm-branches in their hands; 10 and they cried with a loud voice, "Saved by our God who is seated on the throne, and by the Lamb!" 11 And all the angels surrounded the throne and the Presbyters and the four living Creatures, and fell on their faces before the throne, worshipping God 12 and crying, "Even so! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honour and power and might be to our God for ever and ever: Amen!" 13 Then one of the Presbyters addressed me, saying, "Who are these, clad in white robes? where have they come from?" 14 I said to him, "You know, my lord." So he told me, "These are the people who have come out of the great Distress, who washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
