Matthew 8:5-10

Thomson(i) 5 And as Jesus was entering Capernaum, a centurion met him and in treated him, 6 saying, Sir, my servant lieth at home struck with a palsy, in great torture. 7 Thereupon Jesus saith to him, I was coming; I will cure him. 8 In reply to which the centurion said, Sir, I am not worthy that thou shouldst come under my roof; but only speak a word and my servant will be cured. 9 For even I, who am myself under command, having soldiers under me, say to one, Go; and he goeth: and to another, Come; and he cometh: and to my slave, Do this; and he doth it. 10 Upon hearing this Jesus expressed admiration, saying to them who followed him, Verily I say to you, I have not found even in Israel such a belief.
