2 You know that two days hence is the passover, when the son of man is to be delivered up to be crucified.
3 At that time the chief priests, and the Scribes, and the elders of the people, were convened to the court of the high priest, whose name was Caiaphas,
4 and were consulting how they might take Jesus by surprise and kill him.
5 And they said, Not at the festival, that there may not be a tumult among the people.
