Thomson⁽ⁱ⁾ ³ In reply to which he said to them, Why do you transgress the commandment of God, from a regard to your doctrines? ⁴ For God commanded saying, "Honour thy father and thy mother, and whosoever revileth father or mother let him be put to death: ⁵ but you say, "Whoever shall say to his father or to his mother, Let that by which thou mightest be benefited by me, be dedicated, ⁶ must not honour either his father or his mother." Thus you have annulled the commandment of God from a regard to your doctrines.
