Thomson⁽ⁱ⁾ ²³ Thereupon Jesus, looking round, saith to his disciples, How difficult it is for them who have riches to enter into the kingdom of God! ²⁴ At these words of his, his disciples being astonished, Jesus, addressing them again, saith, Children, How difficult a thing it is for them who trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God. ²⁵ It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God. ²⁶ At this they were still more astonished, and said among themselves, Who then can be saved? ²⁷ Whereupon Jesus, looking stedfastly on them, saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God. For with God all things are possible.
