Haweis⁽ⁱ⁾ ²³ And Jesus looking round, said to his disciples, How difficultly shall they who have riches enter into the kingdom of God! ²⁴ Then his disciples were astonished at these words. But Jesus again addressing them, said unto them, Children, how difficult is it for those who trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God! ²⁵ It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. ²⁶ And they were exceedingly amazed, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved? ²⁷ And Jesus looking upon them, said, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.
