But whosoever shall lose his life for my sake, he shall save it. ²⁵ For what advantage is it to a man to have gained the whole world and destroyed himself, or be punished with the loss of life. ²⁶ For whoever shall be ashamed of me, or of my words, of him the son of man will be ashamed when he shall come in his own glory, and in that of the father, and the holy angels. ²⁷ Now I tell you of a truth, there are some of those standing here, who shall not taste death until they see the reign of God.
