47 Alas for you; because you build the monuments of the prophets, and your fathers slew them.
48 You therefore bear testimony, and approve the works of your fathers. Because they slew them, you, therefore, build their monuments;
49 on this account indeed said the wisdom of God, I will send them prophets and apostles, some of whom they will kill, and others they will persecute,
50 that the blood of all the prophets, which hath been shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation.
