11 And when Peter came to Antioch I .opposed him to his face, because he was reprehensible.
12 For before certain persons came from James, he had eaten with the Gentiles; but when they came, he withdrew, and kept himself apart, being afraid of them who were of the circumcision.
13 And the rest of the Jews also dissembled with him, insomuch that even Barnabas was carried away with their dissimulation.
14 But when I saw that they were not walking uprightly, according to the truth of the glad tidings, I said to Peter before them all, "If thou being a Jew mayst live after the manner of the Gentiles, and not as the Jews do, why compellest thou .the Gentiles to conform to the rites of the Jews?
