Acts 8:30-35

Thomson(i) 30 So Philip ran close up and heard him reading the prophet Esaias. Whereupon he said, Dost thou understand what thou art reading? 31 To which he replied, How can I unless some one guide me? Then he invited Philip to come up and take a seat with him. 32 Now the passage of scripture which he was reading was this, "He was led as a sheep to slaughter; and as a lamb before its shearer is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. 33 In his humiliation his legal trial is taken away. Who will declare his manner of life? Because his life is taken from the earth. 34 And the eunuch addressing Philip, said, Of whom, I pray thee, doth the prophet say this? Of himself or of some other person? 35 Then Philip opened His mouth, and beginning with this scripture, told him the glad tidings of Jesus.
