1 After this Paul departed from Athens and went to Corinth,
2 where finding a certain Jew, named Aquilas, a native of Pontus, who had lately come from Italy with his wife Priscilla, because Claudius had commanded all the Jews to depart out of Rome, he went to them;
3 and being of the same trade, lived and wrought with them; for they were tentmakers.
