33 That God hath fulfilled it to us their children by raising up Jesus, even as it is written in the second psalm, "Thou art my son, this day I have begotten thee"
34 and that he hath raised him from the dead never more to return to corruption, as he said, "I will give you the gracious promises to David which are faithful:
35 and therefore, in another place, he saith, "Thou wilt not suffer thy holy one to see corruption!"
36 For David indeed, having in his generation answered the purpose of God, went to rest and was laid with his fathers, and saw corruption;
37 but he whom God raised up did not see corruption.
