Are you not worth much more than they? ²⁷ Which of you by being anxious can add one cubit to the span of his life? ²⁸ And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they do not toil, nor do they spin: ²⁹ And yet I say to you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. ³⁰ Therefore, if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O men of little faith? ³¹ Therefore, do not be anxious, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, With what shall we be clothed? ³² After all these things the Gentiles seek: but your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things. ³³ But seek first his kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added to you.
