Acts 20:18-35

RKJNT(i) 18 And when they had come to him, he said to them, You yourselves know, from the first day that I came to Asia, in what manner I have lived among you at all times, 19 Serving the Lord with all humility of mind, and with many tears, and with trials which befell me by the plots of the Jews: 20 How I kept back nothing that was profitable for you, but have taught you publicly, and from house to house, 21 Testifying both to the Jews, and to the Greeks, of repentance toward God, and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. 22 And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit, to Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there: 23 Except that the Holy Spirit testifies to me in every city, that bonds and afflictions await me. 24 But I do not count my life as precious to myself, so that I might finish my course, and the ministry, which I have received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God. 25 And now, behold, I know that you all, among whom I have gone about preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more. 26 Therefore, I testify to you this day, that I am innocent of the blood of all men. 27 For I have not hesitated to declare to you all the counsel of God. 28 Take heed for yourselves, and for all the flock, over which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God, which he has purchased with his own blood. 29 For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves shall enter in among you, not sparing the flock. 30 And from among your own selves men shall arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after them. 31 Therefore watch, and remember, that for three years I did not cease to warn every one night and day with tears. 32 And now, brethren, I commit you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified. 33 I have coveted no man's silver, or gold, or apparel. 34 You yourselves know, that these hands have ministered to my needs, and to the needs of those who were with me. 35 I have shown you in all things, that by labouring in this manner you ought to support the weak, and to remember the words the Lord Jesus himself said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.
