Noyes⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁴⁷ Wherefore, I say to thee, her many sins have been forgiven; for she loved much; but he to whom little is forgiven loveth little. ⁴⁸ And he said to her, Thy sins have been forgiven. ⁴⁹ And those who were at table with him began to say within themselves, Who is this that even forgiveth sins? ⁵⁰ But he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace. ⁸ ¹ And it came to pass afterward, that he journeyed through cities and villages, preaching and publishing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God; and the twelve were with him, ² and certain women who had been cured of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, out of whom had come seven demons, ³ and Joanna, the wife of Chuzas, Herods steward, and Susanna, and many others, who afforded them aid from their substance.
