Luke 17:7-9 And which of you having a servant plowing, or feeding cattle, will say to him, when he hath come in from the field, Come immediately and place thyself at table?

Noyes⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁷ And which of you having a servant plowing, or feeding cattle, will say to him, when he hath come in from the field, Come immediately and place thyself at table? ⁸ Will he not rather say to him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself and serve me till I have eaten and drunken, and afterward thou shalt eat and drink? ⁹ Doth he owe any thanks to that servant, because he did what was commanded?
