Mark 2:5-11

Matthew^{(i) 5} When Iesus saw their fayth, he sayed to the sicke of the palsie, sonne thy synnes are forgeuen the. ⁶ And there were certayne of the scrybes, sittynge there and reasonynge in theyr hertes: ⁷ how doth thys felowe so blaspheme? Who can forgeue synnes, but God onelye? ⁸ And immediatly when Iesus perceyued in hys spirite, that they so reasoned in them selues, he said vnto them why thinke ye suche thynges in your hertes? ⁹ Whether is it easyer to saye to the sicke of the palsie, thy synnes are forgeuen the: or to saye: aryse, take vp thy bed, and walke? ¹⁰ That ye maye knowe that the sonne of man hath power in earth to forgeue synnes, he spake vnto the sicke of the palsye: ¹¹ I saye vnto the, aryse and take vp thy bedde, and get the hence into thyne owne house.
