Leviticus 3:1-5:6

Matthew(i) 1 If a man brynge a peace offerynge of the oxen: whether it be male or female, he shal bringe such as is without blemish, before the Lorde: 2 and let hym put hys hande vppon the heade of hys offerynge, and kyll it before the dore of the tabernacle of wytnes. And Aarons sonnes the preastes shal sprinkle the bloud vpon the aulter round aboute. 3 And they shal offer of the peaceoffering to be a sacrifice vnto the Lord the fatt that couereth the inwardes, and all the fat that is vpon the inwardes: 4 & the two kidneys with the fatt that lyeth vpon the loynes: and the kall that is on the lyuer they shall take awaye wyth the kidneyes. 5 And Aarons sonnes shall burne them vpon the alter with the burnt sacrifice which is vpon the wodd on the fyre. That is a Sacrifice of a swete sauour vnto the Lorde. 6 If a man brynge a peace offeryng vnto the Lord from of the flocke, whether it be male or female, it shall be without blemysh. 7 If he offer a Lambe, he shall brynge it before the Lord, 8 and put his hand vpon his offeringes head, & kyll it in the dore of the Takernacle of wytnesse, & Aarons sonnes shall sprynkle the bloud therof round about the aulter. 9 And of the peace offering they shall bryng a sacrifyce vnto the Lorde: the fatt therof & the rompe altogyther, whych they shal take of hard by the backe bone: & the fatt that couereth the inwardes & al the fatt that is vpon the inwardes 10 & the two kydneys with the fatt that lyeth vpon them & vpon the loynes, and the kall that is vppon the lyuer he shall take awaye wyth the kydneys. 11 And the prieste shall burne them vpon the aulter to fede the Lordes offerynge wyth all. 12 If the offeryng be a goote, he shal brynge it before the Lorde, 13 & put his hande vpon the head of it, and kyl it before the tabernacle of wytnes, and the sonnes of Aaron shal sprinkle the bloud thereof vpon the aulter round aboute. 14 And he shal bryng therof his offring vnto the Lordes sacrifyce: the fatt that couereth the inwardes & all the fatte that is vpon the inwardes 15 & the two kydneys & the fatte that lieth vpon them and vpon the loynes, & the kal the is vpon the lyuer he shal take away with the kydneys. 16 And the prieste shal burne them vpon the alter to fede the Lordes sacrifice wt all, & to make a swete sauour. 17 And thus shall all the fat be the Lordes, and it shall be a lawe for euer amonge youre generations after you in your dwellynge places: that ye eate neyther fat nor bloud. 4 1 And the Lorde spake vnto Moses sayinge: 2 speake vnto the chyldren of Israell & say: when a soule synneth thorowe ignoraunce, and hath done anye of those thynges whyche the Lord hath forbidden in hys commaundementes to be done: 3 If the prieste that is anointed sinne, & make the people do amysse, he shall brynge for hys syn which he hath done: an oxe wythout blemysh vnto the Lord for a syn offeryng. 4 And he shall bryng the oxe vnto the dore of the tabernacle of witnesse before the Lorde, & shal put hys hand vpon the oxe heade, and kyll hym before the Lorde. 5 And the prieste that is anoynted shall take of the oxe bloude, and bryng it into the tabernacle of wytnes, 6 and shal dyp hys fynger in the bloude & sprinkle therof seuen tymes before the Lord: euen before the hanging of the holy place. 7 And he shal put some of the blud vpon the hornes of the alter of swete sence before the Lord which is in the tabernacle of wytnes, & shal poure all the bloud of the oxe vpon the bottome of the alter of burntoffrynges which is by the dore of the tabernacle of witnes. 8 And he shal take away all the fatte of the oxe that is the synne offering: the fatt that couereth the inwardes and all the fatte that is aboute them, 9 & the .ij. kydneys with the fatt that lyeth vpon them & vpon the loynes, and the kall vpon the liuer let them take awaye also wyth the kidneis: 10 as it was taken from the oxe of the peace offeringe & let the prieste burne theim vppon the alter of burnt offringes. 11 But the skinne of the oxe & al hys flesh wyth his head, hys legges, his inwardes with his dong, 12 shal he carye altogither out of the host vnto a clene place: euen wher the ashes are poured out, & burne him on wodd wyth fyre: euen vpon the heape of ashes. 13 If the hole comenaltye of the children of Israel sinne thorow ignoraunce, & the thyng be hid from theyr eyes: so that they haue committed any of these thynges which the Lord hath forbydden to be done in his commaundementes & haue offended, 14 & the synne which they haue synned be afterward knowne, then shall they offer an oxe for a synne offeryng, & shal bryng him before the tabernacle of witnes, 15 and the elders of the multitude shal put theyr handes vpon his head before the Lord. 16 And the priest that is anoynted shal bringe of his bloud into the tabernacle of wytnes, 17 and shal dype hys fynger in the bloude, and sprinkle it seuen tymes before the Lorde: euen before the vayle. 18 And shall put of the bloude vpon the hornes of the alter whych is before the Lorde in the tabernacle of wytnes, and shall poure al the bloud vpon the botome of the alter of burnt offeringes whych is by the dore of the tabernacle of witnes, 19 & shal take all hys fatte frome hym, & burne it vpon the alter, 20 & shal do wyth hys oxe as he dyd with the synne offerynge oxe. And the priest shall make an atonement for them, and so it shalbe forgeuen them. 21 And he shall bring the oxe without the hoste, and burne hym as he burned the fyrst: so is thys the sinneofferynge of the cominalty. 22 When a Lorde synneth and commytteth thorow ignoraunce any of these things whiche the lord his God hath forbiden to be done in his commaundementes & hath so offended: when hys synne is shewed vnto him, 23 which he hath synned, he shall brynge for hys offerynge an he goote wythoute blemish 24 & laye his hand vpon the head of it, and kil it in the place where the burntofferynges are kylled before the Lord: this is a synneoffring. 25 Then let the priest take of the bloude of the synneofferyng with hys fynger, and put it vpon the hornes of the burnt offeryng aulter, & poure his bloud vpon the botome of the burntofferyng alter, 26 & burne all his fatt vpon the aulter, as he doth the fatt of the peaceoffringes. And the prieste shall make an atonement for hym as concerning his synne, and so it shalbe forgeuen hym. 27 If one of the common people of the land sinne thorowe ignoraunce and commit anye of the thynges whych the Lord hath forbydden in hys commaundementes to be done & so hath trespaced, 28 when hys synne which he hath sinned is come to hys knowledge, he shal bring for hys offering, a she gote without blemish for hys sinnes whych he hath synned, 29 & laye hys hand vpon the head of the synne offering & slea it in the place of burnt offringes 30 And the priestes shall take of the bloud wyth hys fynger, & put it vpon the hornes of the burntofferyng alter, and poure al the bloud vpon the botome of the alter, 31 and shall take away al his fatt as the fatt of the peaceofferynges is taken awaye. And the priest shall burne it vpon the alter for a swete sauoure vnto the Lorde, and the prieste shall make an atonement for hym, & it shalbe forgeuen hym. 32 If he bringe a lambe & offer it for a synne offeryng, he shall bryng a female wythoute blemysh, 33 & lay hys hand vpon the head of the synneofferyng, & slea it in the place wher the burntoffringes ar slayne. 34 And the priest shal take of the bloud of the synne offeryng wyth his fynger, and put it vpon the hornes of the burntoffring alter, & shal poure al the bloud therof vnto the botome of the alter. 35 And he shall take away all the fatt therof, as the fat of the shepe of the peace offringes was taken awaye. And the prieste shall burne it vpon the alter for the Lordes sacrifice, and the prieste shall make an atonement for hys synne, and it shalbe forgeuen hym. 5 1 When a Soule hath synned and hearde the voyce of cursynge, and is a wytnesse: whether he hath sene or knowne of it, if he haue not vttered it, he shal bere hys synne. 2 Eyther when a manne toucheth anye vncleane thynge: whether it be the caryon of an vncleane beast or of vncleane catell or vncleane worme and is not ware of it is also vncleane & hath offended. 3 Either when he toucheth any vncleannes of man (whatsoeuer vncleannes it be that a man is defyled wythall) & is not ware of it and afterwarde cometh to the knowelege of it, he is a trespasour. 4 Either when a soule sweareth: so that he pronounceth wyth his lyps to do euil or to do good (whatsoeuer it be that a man pronounceth wyth an othe) and the thynge be out of hys mynde & afterwarde cometh to the knowelege of it, then he hath offended in one of these. 5 Then when he hath synned in one of these thynges, he shall confesse that wherin he hath synned, 6 and shall brynge hys trespaceofferyng vnto the Lorde for hys synne which he hath synned. A female from the flocke whether it be a Lambe or a she goote for a synneofferyng. And the priest shal make an atonement for hym for hys synne.
