11 because Hiram the king of Tyre had supported him with Cedar, fir and gold, as much as he desired — therefore Solomon gave Hiram twenty cities in the land of Galilee.
12 And when Hiram was come from Tyre to see the cities which Solomon had given him, they pleased him not.
13 Wherefore he said, "What cities are these which thou hast given me, my brother?" And he called them the land of Cabul unto this day.
14 This Hiram had sent the king six score hundredweight of gold.
15 And this is the sum of the tribute, which king Solomon raised to build the house of the LORD and his own house, and Mello and the walls of Jerusalem, and Hazor, and Megiddo, and Gezer.
16 For Pharaoh, king of Egypt, went up and took Gezer and burnt it with fire, and slew the Cananites that dwelt in the city, and gave it for a present unto his daughter that was Solomon's wife.
17 And Solomon built Gezer and Bethhoron the nether;
18 and Baalath and Tamar in the wilderness that is in the land;
