This say I brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God. Neither doth corruption inherit uncorruption.
Behold, I show a mystery unto you: we shall not all sleep: but we shall all be changed,
and that in a moment, and in the twinkling of an eye, at the sound of the last trumpet. For the trumpet shall blow, and the dead shall rise incorruptible: And we shall be changed.
For this corruptible must put on incorruptibility: and this mortal must put on immortality.
When this corruptible hath put on incorruptibility: and this mortal hath put on immortality: then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, "Death is consumed into victory."
"Death where is thy sting? Hell where is thy victory?"
The sting of death is sin: and the strength of sin is the law.
But thanks be unto God, which hath given us victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
