1 John 4:20-5:2 If anyone says, “I love God,” but hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, how can he love God, whom he has not seen?

MSB⁽ⁱ⁾ ²⁰ If anyone says, “I love God,” but hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, how can he love God, whom he has not seen? ²¹ And we have this commandment from Him: Whoever loves God must love his brother as well. ⁵ ¹ Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the Father also loves those born of Him. ² By this we know that we love the children of God: when we love God and keep His commandments.
