MNT⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁸ And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the fields, keeping watch over their flocks by night. ⁹ When suddenly an angel of the Lord stood by them, and the glory of the Lord shone round them; and they feared with a great fear. The angel said to them. ¹⁰ "Have no fear, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be for all the people. ¹¹ "For unto you born this day in there is born in David's town a Saviour, who is the Anointed Lord. ¹² "And this is a sign to you; You shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling-clothes lying in a manger." ¹³ And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the Heavenly army praising God and saying, ¹⁴ "Glory to God in the highest, And in earth peace among men who please him"
