3 And I will be giving to my two witnesses and they will be prophesying one thousand two hundred and sixty days, having been dressed in sackcloth.
4 These are the two olive trees and the two lamp-stands, standing in the sight of the Lord of the earth.
5 And if anyone wishes to hurt them, fire travels out from their mouth and devours their enemies, and if anyone wishes to hurt them, it is essential for him to thus be killed.
6 These have the authority to lock the heaven, in order that no rainfall may rain on the days of their prophecy and they have authority over the waters to turn them into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of wound, whenever they will it.
7 And whenever they completed their testimony, the beast which is ascending out of the abyss, will make war with them and overcome them and kill them. 8 And the corpse s of them lay in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified. 9 And some from among the peoples and tribes and languages and nations look upon their corpses three and a half days and they will not allow their corpses to be laid in a tomb. 10 And those who are dwelling upon the earth rejoice over them and will be joyous, and they will send gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those who dwell upon the earth. 11 And after the three and a half days the spirit of life from God entered into them and they stood upon their feet, and great fear fell upon those who view them.
