27 For the Son of Man is about to come in the glory of his Father with his messengers, and then he will be giving to each one according to his practice.
28 Assuredly I am saying to you, Some of those who are standing here may never taste of death, until they should see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.
17 1 And after six days Jesus takes with him Peter and James and John his brother, and privately brings them up into a high mountain. 2 And he was transfigured before them, and his face shined like the sun, and his garments became white like the light. 3 And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, speaking together with him.
4 Now Peter answered and said to Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here; if you will it. Should we make three tabernacles here; one for you and one for Moses and one for Elijah?
5 While he is still speaking, behold, a radiant cloud overshadowed them, and behold, a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am delighted; hear him!
6 And when the disciples heard it, they fell upon their face, and were extremely afraid. 7 And Jesus came and touched them and said, Arise and do not be afraid. 8 Now they saw no one, having lifting up their eyes, except Jesus only.
9 And while coming down from the mountain, Jesus commanded them, saying, Tell the vision to no one, until the Son of Man should rise from the dead.
10 And his disciples asked him, saying, Therefore why do the scribes say that it is essential for Elijah to come first?
11 Now Jesus answered and said to them, Indeed Elijah comes first and will be restoring all things. 12 But I am saying to you, that Elijah already came, and they did not recognize him, but did as many things as they wished to him. So the Son of Man is also about to suffer by them. 13 Then the disciples understood that he spoke to them concerning John the Immerser.
14 And having gone to the crowd, a man came to him, kneeling down to him, saying, 15 Lord, show-mercy to my son, because he is epileptic, and suffers evilly; for he often falls into the fire and often into the water. 16 And I brought him to your disciples, and they were not able to heal him.
17 But Jesus answered and said, O unbelieving and perverse generation, until when shall I be with you? Until when shall I tolerate you? Bring him here to me. 18 And Jesus rebuked him, and the demon went out of him, and the boy was healed from that hour.
19 Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, Why were we not able to cast it out?
20 Now Jesus said to them, Because of your unbelief. For assuredly I am saying to you, If you have faith like a kernel of a mustard-seed, you will say to this mountain, Proceed from here to over there, and it will proceed, and nothing will be impossible for you. 21 But this variety of demon does not travel out except in prayer and fasting.
22 Now while conducting work in Galilee, Jesus said to them, The Son of Man is about to be given up into the hands of men; 23 and they will be killing him, and he will be arisen in the third day. And they were extremely sorrowful.
24 Now they came to Capernaum, those who receive the four-denarii tax came to Peter and said, Does your teacher not pay the four-denarii tax?
25 He says, Yes.
And when he entered into the house, Jesus anticipated him, saying, What do you think, Simon? The kings of the earth, from whom do they receive taxes or tribute? From their sons or from the aliens?
26 And Peter says to him, From aliens.
Jesus said to him, Consequently, the sons are free. 27 But in order that we might not offend them, you travel to the sea and cast a fishhook, and lift out the fish that ascends first, and when you have opened its mouth, you will find a four-denarii coin. Take that, and give it to them in exchange-for you and me.
18 1 The disciples came to Jesus in that hour, saying, Who then is greater in the kingdom of the heavens?
2 And Jesus, having called to him a child, stood it in the midst of them, 3 and said, Assuredly I am saying to you, If you do not turn and become like little children, you may never enter into the kingdom of the heavens. 4 Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this little child, this one is the greater one in the kingdom of the heavens. 5 And whoever accepts one such child in my name, accepts me. 6 But whoever offends one of these little ones who believes in me, it is more advantageous for him that a millstone, the ones rotated by a donkey, should be hung at his neck, and that he should be sunk in the depths of the sea.
7 Woe to the world from the coming offenses! For it is a necessity for the offenses to come; however, woe to that man through whom the offense comes! 8 Now if your hand or your foot is offending you, cut both of them off and cast them from you. It is good for you to enter into life lame or crippled, rather than to be cast into the everlasting fire, having two hands or two feet. 9 And if your eye is offending you, pluck it out and cast it from you. It is good for you to enter into life one-eyed, rather than having two eyes, and to be cast into the hell of fire.
10 See that you do not despise one of these little ones; for I say to you, that in the heavens their messengers are always looking at the face of my Father who is in the heavens. 11 For the Son of Man came to save what has been lost.

12 What are you thinking? If there should happen to be any man who has a hundred sheep, and one out of them might be misled, does he not leave the ninety nine and travel on the mountains, and seek the one which is misled? 13 And if he happens to find it, assuredly I am saying to you, He rejoices over it more than over the ninety nine which have not been misled. 14 So it is also not the will before your Father who is in the heavens, that one of these little ones should perish.

18 Assuredly, I am saying to you again, As many things as you may bind upon the earth will have already been bound in heaven, and as many things as you may loose upon earth will have already been loosed in heaven. 19 Assuredly I say to you again, that if two of you agree together upon the earth concerning any matter, whatever they ask, it will happen for them from my Father who is in the heavens. 20 For where two or three have been gathered together in my name, I am there in the midst of them.
21 Then Peter came near to him and said, Lord, how-often will my brother sin against me and I forgive him? Until seven-times?
22 Jesus says to him, I do not say to you, Until seven times, but, until seventy-times seven-times. 23 Because of this, the kingdom of the heavens has been similar to a certain king who wished to settle the account with his bondservants. 24 Now having begun to settle the account, one man was brought to him, a debtor of ten-thousand silver talants . 25 But he did not have anything to repay him with, so his lord commanded him and his wife and children and all things, as many things as he was holding, to be sold and the money to be repaid to him.
26 Therefore the bondservant falling down, was worshiping him, saying, Lord, have patience upon me, and I will be repaying all of it to you. 27 But the lord of that bondservant, having compassion on him, released him and forgave him the loan.
28 But that bondservant went out and found one of his fellow bondservants who owed him a hundred denarii, and he took-hold of him, and was choking him, saying, Repay if you are owing me anything.
29 Therefore his fellow bondservant, falling down at his feet, was pleading with him, saying, Have patience upon me and I will be repaying you. 30 But he did not wish to, but went and cast him into prison, until he should repay what is owed. 31 But his fellow bondservants, having seen the things which had happened, were extremely sorrowful. And they came to their own lord, and they told all the things which had happened.
32 Then his lord called him, and says to him, You evil bondservant, I forgave you all that debt, since you pleaded with me. 33 It was essential for you to have shown-mercy also on your fellow bondservant, like I also had shown-mercy to you. 34 And his lord, was angry and gave him to the torturers until he should repay everything which is owed to him. 35 So my heavenly Father will also be doing to you, if each of you does not forgive his brother his trespasses from your hearts.
19 1 And it happened, when Jesus had completed these words, he took off from Galilee and came into the borders of Judea beyond-that of the Jordan; 2 and large crowds followed him, and he healed them there.
3 And the Pharisees came to him, testing him and saying to him, If it is legal to a man to divorce his wife according to every cause.
4 But he answered and said to them, Have you not read, He who made them, made them male and female from the beginning. 5 And said, Because of this, a man will be leaving his father and mother and will be joined to his wife, and the two will be jointed into one flesh. 6 So-that they are no more two, but one flesh. Therefore, what God has yoked together; let man not separate.
7 They say to him, Therefore why did Moses command us to give a document of divorcement and to dismiss her?
8 He says to them, Moses permitted you to divorce your wives for your hardness of heart, but from the beginning it has not become so. 9 But I am saying to you, Whoever divorces his wife not over
10 His disciples say to him, If thus is the case of the man with his wife, it is not advantageous to marry.
11 But he said to them, Not all people will make room for this word in their hearts, but they to whom it has been given: 12 for there are eunuchs who were born so out of their mother’s womb, and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men, and there are eunuchs who made themselves eunuchs because of the kingdom of the heavens. He who is able to make room in his heart
13 Then little children were brought to him, in order that he might lay his hands on them and might pray for them, and the disciples rebuked them. 14 But Jesus said, Allow the little children, and do not forbid them to come to me; for of such is the kingdom of the heavens. 15 And having laid his hands on them, he traveled from there.
16 And behold, one man came to him and said to him, Good teacher, what good thing should I practice in order that I may have everlasting life?
17 Now he said to him, Why do you call me good? No one is good except one–God, but if you wish to enter into everlasting life, keep the commandments.
18 He says to him, What ones?
Now Jesus said, Do not murder; Do not commit adultery; Do not steal; Do not falsely testify, 19 Honor your father and mother.
20 The young-man says to him, I have observed all these things from my youth. So what am I still lacking?
21 Jesus said to him, If you are willing to be complete, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor and you will have treasure in heaven and come-here. Follow me. 22 But when the young-man heard the word, he went away and was sorrowing; for he had many properties.
23 Now Jesus said to his disciples, Assuredly I am saying to you, A rich man will hardly enter into the kingdom of the heavens. 24 But again I am saying to you, It is easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
25 Now when his disciples heard it, they were being extremely astounded, saying, Who then is able to be saved?
26 But Jesus, looked at them and said to them, This is impossible with men, but all things are possible with God.
27 Then Peter answered and said to him, Behold, we have left all and followed you; what then will be left for us?
28 But Jesus said to them, Assuredly I am saying to you, that you who have followed me, whenever the Son of Man sits upon the throne of his glory in the regeneration, you will also sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. 29 And everyone who has left houses or brethren or sisters, or their father or mother or wife, or children or fields, because of my name, will be receiving a hundred-times that, and will be inheriting everlasting life. 30 But many will be last who are first, and first who are last.
20 1 For the kingdom of the heavens is similar to a man who is a householder, who went out at the same time every morning to hire workers into his vineyard. 2 And having agreed together with the workers for a denarius a day , he sent them into his vineyard. 3 And he went out around the third hour and saw others standing idle in the marketplace; 4 and he said to those men, You also, go into the vineyard and I will be giving you whatever is just. And they went. 5 Again, they went out around the sixth and he did likewise. 6 Now around the eleventh hour, he went out and found others standing idle, and he says to them, Why are you standing here idle the whole day?
7 They say to him, Because no one has hired us.
So he says to them, You also, go into the vineyard and I will be giving you whatever is just. 8 Now when it became evening, the lord of the vineyard says to his commissioner, Call the workers and give to them their wages, begin from the last to the first. 9 And when those hired around the eleventh hour came, they each received a denarius apiece. 10 Now when the first came, they supposed that they will be receiving more, but they themselves also received a denarius apiece.
11 But having received it, they were murmuring against the householder, 12 saying, These last ones have only done one hour of work, and you have made them equal to us, who have borne the burden of the day and the burning heat.
13 But he answered and said to one of them, Comrade, I am not wronging you. Did you not agree together with me for a denarius? 14 Take up the thing which is yours and go away. It is my will to give to this last one, as I also did to you. 15 Or is it not legal for me to do what I will in the things which are mine? Or is your eye evil, because I am good? 16 So the last will be first, and the first last; for many are invited but few are chosen.

They say to him, We are able.
23 And he says to them, Indeed, you will be drinking my cup and you will be immersed with the immersion to which I am immersed, but to sit at my right and at my left, is not mine to give, but it is for them for whom it has been prepared by my Father. 24 And having heard this, the ten were indignant concerning the two brothers.
25 But Jesus called them and said, You know that the rulers of the Gentiles are lording it over them, and their great ones wield authority over them. 26 But it will not be so among you, but whoever wishes to become great among you, he will be your servant; 27 and whoever wishes to be first among you, let him be your bondservant; 28 just-like the Son of Man did not come to be served to, but to serve and to give his life as a redemption in exchange-for many.
29 And while traveling out from Jericho, a large crowd followed him. 30 And behold, two blind men sitting beside the road, having heard that Jesus was passing by, they cried out, saying, Lord, son of David, show-mercy to us! 31 But the crowd rebuked them, in order that they should be silent, but they were crying out the greatest, saying, Lord, son of David, show-mercy to us!
32 And Jesus stood and summoned them, and said, What do you will that I might do for you?
33 They say to him, Lord, that our eyes might be opened. 34 Now Jesus, having compassion, touched their eyes, and immediately their eyes recovered their sight and they followed him.

11 But the crowds were saying, This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth of Galilee.
12 And Jesus entered into the temple of God, and cast out all those who are selling and buying in the temple, and turned over the tables of the brokers and the chairs of those selling the doves; 13 and he says to them, It has been written, My house will be called a house of prayer, but you made it a den of robbers.
14 And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple, and he healed them. 15 But when the high-priests and the scribes saw the marvelous things which he did, and the children crying in the temple and saying, Hosanna to the son of David.
They were indignant, 16 and said to him, Do you hear what they are saying?
But Jesus says to them, Yes. Have you never read, ‘You have matured praise out of the mouth of infants and nursing babies.’ 17 And having left them, he went forth outside the city to Bethany, and camped there.
18 Now in the morning, while leading them back to the city, he hungered. 19 And having seen a fig tree upon the road, he came upon it and found nothing in it, except leaves only, and he says to it, Let it happen that there is no fruit from you any longer, forever. And instantly the fig tree dried up.
20 And when the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, How did the fig tree instantly dry up?
21 Now Jesus answered and said to them, Assuredly I am saying to you, If you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only be doing the miracle of the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, Be lifted up and cast yourself into the sea, it will happen. 22 And all things, as many things as you may ask in prayer, and believing, you will be receiving.
23 And having come to him in the temple, the high-priests and the elders of the people came to him as he was teaching, saying, By what authority are you doing these things? And who gave you this authority?
24 But Jesus answered and said to them, I will also ask you one question, which if you tell me, then I will also tell you by what authority I am doing these things. 25 The immersion of John, where was it from, from heaven or from men?
Now they were reasoning with themselves, saying, If we say, From heaven; he will say to us, Therefore why did you not believe him? 26 But if we say, From men; we fear the crowd; for all are holding John up like a prophet. 27 And they answered Jesus and said, We do not know.
He also said to them, Nor do I tell you by what authority I am doing these things.
28 But what do you think? A man had two children, and he came to the first and said, Child, go work today in my vineyard.
29 But he answered and said, I am not willing, but later he regretted it and went.
30 And he came to the second and said likewise. But he answered and said, I will go lord, and did not go. 31 Which one out of the two did the will of his father?

33 Hear another parable: there was a certain man, a householder, who planted a vineyard and placed a fence around it, and shoveled a winepress in it, and built a tower and rented it out to farmers, and went-abroad. 34 Now when the time of the fruits drew near, he sent his bondservants to the farmers, to receive his fruits. 35 And then the farmers took his bondservants and whipped one, and killed one and stoned one. 36 Again, he sent other bondservants, more-than the first, and they did to them likewise. 37 But later he sent to them his son, saying, They will be revering my son. 38 But the farmers, when they saw the son, said among themselves, This is the heir. Come-here. We should kill him, and we might hold-onto his inheritance. 39 And having taken him, they cast him forth outside the vineyard, and killed him. 40 Therefore, whenever the lord of the vineyard comes, what shall he do to those farmers?
41 They say to him, He will evilly destroy those evil men, and will be renting the vineyard to other farmers, who will be giving to him the fruits at their seasons.

28 But that bondservant went out and found one of his fellow bondservants who owed him a hundred denarii, and he took-hold of him, and was choking him, saying, Repay if you are owing me anything.
29 Therefore his fellow bondservant, falling down at his feet, was pleading with him, saying, Have patience upon me and I will be repaying you. 30 But he did not wish to, but went and cast him into prison, until he should repay what is owed. 31 But his fellow bondservants, having seen the things which had happened, were extremely sorrowful. And they came to their own lord, and they told all the things which had happened.
32 Then his lord called him, and says to him, You evil bondservant, I forgave you all that debt, since you pleaded with me. 33 It was essential for you to have shown-mercy also on your fellow bondservant, like I also had shown-mercy to you. 34 And his lord, was angry and gave him to the torturers until he should repay everything which is owed to him. 35 So my heavenly Father will also be doing to you, if each of you does not forgive his brother his trespasses from your hearts.
19 1 And it happened, when Jesus had completed these words, he took off from Galilee and came into the borders of Judea beyond-that of the Jordan; 2 and large crowds followed him, and he healed them there.
3 And the Pharisees came to him, testing him and saying to him, If it is legal to a man to divorce his wife according to every cause.
4 But he answered and said to them, Have you not read, He who made them, made them male and female from the beginning. 5 And said, Because of this, a man will be leaving his father and mother and will be joined to his wife, and the two will be jointed into one flesh. 6 So-that they are no more two, but one flesh. Therefore, what God has yoked together; let man not separate.
7 They say to him, Therefore why did Moses command us to give a document of divorcement and to dismiss her?
8 He says to them, Moses permitted you to divorce your wives for your hardness of heart, but from the beginning it has not become so. 9 But I am saying to you, Whoever divorces his wife not over
10 His disciples say to him, If thus is the case of the man with his wife, it is not advantageous to marry.
11 But he said to them, Not all people will make room for this word in their hearts, but they to whom it has been given: 12 for there are eunuchs who were born so out of their mother’s womb, and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men, and there are eunuchs who made themselves eunuchs because of the kingdom of the heavens. He who is able to make room in his heart
13 Then little children were brought to him, in order that he might lay his hands on them and might pray for them, and the disciples rebuked them. 14 But Jesus said, Allow the little children, and do not forbid them to come to me; for of such is the kingdom of the heavens. 15 And having laid his hands on them, he traveled from there.
16 And behold, one man came to him and said to him, Good teacher, what good thing should I practice in order that I may have everlasting life?
17 Now he said to him, Why do you call me good? No one is good except one–God, but if you wish to enter into everlasting life, keep the commandments.
18 He says to him, What ones?
Now Jesus said, Do not murder; Do not commit adultery; Do not steal; Do not falsely testify, 19 Honor your father and mother.
20 The young-man says to him, I have observed all these things from my youth. So what am I still lacking?
21 Jesus said to him, If you are willing to be complete, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor and you will have treasure in heaven and come-here. Follow me. 22 But when the young-man heard the word, he went away and was sorrowing; for he had many properties.
23 Now Jesus said to his disciples, Assuredly I am saying to you, A rich man will hardly enter into the kingdom of the heavens. 24 But again I am saying to you, It is easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
25 Now when his disciples heard it, they were being extremely astounded, saying, Who then is able to be saved?
26 But Jesus, looked at them and said to them, This is impossible with men, but all things are possible with God.
27 Then Peter answered and said to him, Behold, we have left all and followed you; what then will be left for us?
28 But Jesus said to them, Assuredly I am saying to you, that you who have followed me, whenever the Son of Man sits upon the throne of his glory in the regeneration, you will also sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. 29 And everyone who has left houses or brethren or sisters, or their father or mother or wife, or children or fields, because of my name, will be receiving a hundred-times that, and will be inheriting everlasting life. 30 But many will be last who are first, and first who are last.
20 1 For the kingdom of the heavens is similar to a man who is a householder, who went out at the same time every morning to hire workers into his vineyard. 2 And having agreed together with the workers for a denarius a day , he sent them into his vineyard. 3 And he went out around the third hour and saw others standing idle in the marketplace; 4 and he said to those men, You also, go into the vineyard and I will be giving you whatever is just. And they went. 5 Again, they went out around the sixth and he did likewise. 6 Now around the eleventh hour, he went out and found others standing idle, and he says to them, Why are you standing here idle the whole day?
7 They say to him, Because no one has hired us.
So he says to them, You also, go into the vineyard and I will be giving you whatever is just. 8 Now when it became evening, the lord of the vineyard says to his commissioner, Call the workers and give to them their wages, begin from the last to the first. 9 And when those hired around the eleventh hour came, they each received a denarius apiece. 10 Now when the first came, they supposed that they will be receiving more, but they themselves also received a denarius apiece.
11 But having received it, they were murmuring against the householder, 12 saying, These last ones have only done one hour of work, and you have made them equal to us, who have borne the burden of the day and the burning heat.
13 But he answered and said to one of them, Comrade, I am not wronging you. Did you not agree together with me for a denarius? 14 Take up the thing which is yours and go away. It is my will to give to this last one, as I also did to you. 15 Or is it not legal for me to do what I will in the things which are mine? Or is your eye evil, because I am good? 16 So the last will be first, and the first last; for many are invited but few are chosen.

17 And while going up to Jerusalem, Jesus took the twelve disciples privately by the road and he said to them, 18 Behold, we go into Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be given up to the high-priests and scribes, and they will be condemning him to death, 19 and they will be giving him to the Gentiles, that they should mock and scourge and crucify him, and in the third day he will rise again.
20 Then the mother of the sons of Zebedee, with her sons, came to him, worshiping him, and asking something from him. 21 But he said to her, What do you wish?
She says to him, Say that these, my two sons, may sit, one at your right hand and one at your left hand in your kingdom.
22 But Jesus answered and said, You do not know what you ask. Are you able to drink the cup which I am about to drink, or to be immersed with the immersion to which I am about to be immersed?
They say to him, We are able.
23 And he says to them, Indeed, you will be drinking my cup and you will be immersed with the immersion to which I am immersed, but to sit at my right and at my left, is not mine to give, but it is for them for whom it has been prepared by my Father. 24 And having heard this, the ten were indignant concerning the two brothers.
25 But Jesus called them and said, You know that the rulers of the Gentiles are lording it over them, and their great ones wield authority over them. 26 But it will not be so among you, but whoever wishes to become great among you, he will be your servant; 27 and whoever wishes to be first among you, let him be your bondservant; 28 just-like the Son of Man did not come to be served to, but to serve and to give his life as a redemption in exchange-for many.
29 And while traveling out from Jericho, a large crowd followed him. 30 And behold, two blind men sitting beside the road, having heard that Jesus was passing by, they cried out, saying, Lord, son of David, show-mercy to us! 31 But the crowd rebuked them, in order that they should be silent, but they were crying out the greatest, saying, Lord, son of David, show-mercy to us!
32 And Jesus stood and summoned them, and said, What do you will that I might do for you?
33 They say to him, Lord, that our eyes might be opened. 34 Now Jesus, having compassion, touched their eyes, and immediately their eyes recovered their sight and they followed him.
21 1 And when they drew near to Jerusalem and came to Bethphage, toward the Mountain of Olives, Jesus then sent two disciples, 2 saying to them, Travel into the village which is in front of you, and immediately you will be finding a donkey that has been tied and a colt with her. After having loosed them, lead them to me. 3 And if anyone says anything to you, You will say, The Lord has need of them, and immediately he will be sending them. 4 Now this whole thing has happened, in order that what was spoken through the prophet might be fulfilled, saying, 5 ‘Say to the daughter of Zion, Behold, your King is coming to you, meek and has been mounted upon a donkey and a colt, the son of a donkey.’ 6 Now the disciples having traveled and having done just-as Jesus commanded them, 7 they led the donkey and the colt and placed their garments upon them, and he sat upon them. 8 But most of the crowd spread their garments in the road, and others were cutting branches from the trees and spreading them in the road.
9 Now the crowds who precede him and who are following him, were crying, saying, ‘Hosanna to the son of David. He who is coming in the name of the Lord has been blessed.’Hosanna in the highest.’ 10 And having entered into Jerusalem, all the city was shaken up, saying, Who is this?
11 But the crowds were saying, This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth of Galilee.
12 And Jesus entered into the temple of God, and cast out all those who are selling and buying in the temple, and turned over the tables of the brokers and the chairs of those selling the doves; 13 and he says to them, It has been written, My house will be called a house of prayer, but you made it a den of robbers.
14 And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple, and he healed them. 15 But when the high-priests and the scribes saw the marvelous things which he did, and the children crying in the temple and saying, Hosanna to the son of David.
They were indignant, 16 and said to him, Do you hear what they are saying?
But Jesus says to them, Yes. Have you never read, ‘You have matured praise out of the mouth of infants and nursing babies.’ 17 And having left them, he went forth outside the city to Bethany, and camped there.
18 Now in the morning, while leading them back to the city, he hungered. 19 And having seen a fig tree upon the road, he came upon it and found nothing in it, except leaves only, and he says to it, Let it happen that there is no fruit from you any longer, forever. And instantly the fig tree dried up.
20 And when the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, How did the fig tree instantly dry up?
21 Now Jesus answered and said to them, Assuredly I am saying to you, If you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only be doing the miracle of the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, Be lifted up and cast yourself into the sea, it will happen. 22 And all things, as many things as you may ask in prayer, and believing, you will be receiving.
23 And having come to him in the temple, the high-priests and the elders of the people came to him as he was teaching, saying, By what authority are you doing these things? And who gave you this authority?
24 But Jesus answered and said to them, I will also ask you one question, which if you tell me, then I will also tell you by what authority I am doing these things. 25 The immersion of John, where was it from, from heaven or from men?
Now they were reasoning with themselves, saying, If we say, From heaven; he will say to us, Therefore why did you not believe him? 26 But if we say, From men; we fear the crowd; for all are holding John up like a prophet. 27 And they answered Jesus and said, We do not know.
He also said to them, Nor do I tell you by what authority I am doing these things.
28 But what do you think? A man had two children, and he came to the first and said, Child, go work today in my vineyard.
29 But he answered and said, I am not willing, but later he regretted it and went.
30 And he came to the second and said likewise. But he answered and said, I will go lord, and did not go. 31 Which one out of the two did the will of his father?
They say, The first.
Jesus says to them, Assuredly I am saying to you, that the tax collectors and the prostitutes will precede you into the kingdom of God. 32 For John came to you in the way of righteousness, and you did not believe in him, but the tax collectors and the prostitutes believed in him, and the n having seen it, you did not even regret it later, that you might believe in him.
33 Hear another parable: there was a certain man, a householder, who planted a vineyard and placed a fence around it, and shoveled a winepress in it, and built a tower and rented it out to farmers, and went-abroad. 34 Now when the time of the fruits drew near, he sent his bondservants to the farmers, to receive his fruits. 35 And then the farmers took his bondservants and whipped one, and killed one and stoned one. 36 Again, he sent other bondservants, more-than the first, and they did to them likewise. 37 But later he sent to them his son, saying, They will be revering my son. 38 But the farmers, when they saw the son, said among themselves, This is the heir. Come-here. We should kill him, and we might hold-onto his inheritance. 39 And having taken him, they cast him forth outside the vineyard, and killed him. 40 Therefore, whenever the lord of the vineyard comes, what shall he do to those farmers?
41 They say to him, He will evilly destroy those evil men, and will be renting the vineyard to other farmers, who will be giving to him the fruits at their seasons.
42 Jesus says to them, Have you never read in the Scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, this has become the head of the corner; this has become from the Lord and it is marvelous in our eyes? 43 Because of this, I am saying to you, The kingdom of God will be taken away from you, and will be given to a nation producing the fruits of it. 44 And he who falls upon this stone will be shattered, but upon whomever it falls, it will be smashing him. 45 And when the high-priests and the Pharisees heard his parables, they knew that he is speaking concerning them. 46 And seeking to take-hold of him, but they feared the crowds, since they were holding him up like a prophet.
