MLV(i)
17 And one out of the crowd answered and said, Teacher, I brought my son to you, who has a mute spirit;
18 and wherever it overtakes him, it rips at him and he foams and grinds his teeth and he is dried up, and I spoke to your disciples in order that they might cast it out, and yet they were not strong-enough.
19 But he answered and says, O unbelieving generation, until when shall I be with you? Until when shall I tolerate you? Bring him to me. 20 And they brought him to him, and when he saw him, immediately the spirit convulsed him, and he fell upon the earth. He was wallowing–foaming. 21 Now he asked his father, How much time has things like this happened to him?
And he said, From childhood. 22 And often it has cast him both into fire and into waters, in order that it might destroy him, but if you are able to do anything, help us and have compassion upon us.
23 Now Jesus said to him, If you are able to believe. All things are possible to the one who believes.
