Mark 7:17-23

MLV(i) 17 And when he entered into the house away from the crowd, his disciples asked him concerning the parable. 18 And he says to them, So are you also without understanding? Are you not perceiving, that whatever is outside, travels into the man, is not able to desecrate him; 19 because it is not traveling into his heart, but into his belly and travels into the sewer? ( He said thus, cleansing all foods.) 20 Now he said, What travels out from the man, this desecrates the man. 21 For evil reasonings travel from inside, out of the heart of men, such as : adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, 22 greedy-acts, wickednesses, treachery, unbridled-lusts, an evil eye, blasphemy, haughtiness, foolishness. 23 All these evil things travel from inside, and desecrate the man.
