John 17:1-5 Jesus spoke these things, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour has come; glorify your Son, in order that your Son may also glorify you;

MLV⁽ⁱ⁾ ¹ Jesus spoke these things, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour has come; glorify your Son, in order that your Son may also glorify you; ² just-as you gave him authority over all flesh, in order that to all whom you have given him, he will be giving everlasting life to them. ³ But this is everlasting life, in order that they should know you, the only true God, and Jesus the Christ, whom you sent. ⁴ I glorified you upon the earth. I completed the work which you have given me, that I should be doing. ⁵ And now, Father, glorify me with yourself in the glory which I was holding with you before the world was.
