Genesis 37:29-34

MLV(i) 29 And Reuben returned to the pit, and behold, Joseph was not in the pit. And he tore his clothes, 30 and he returned to his brothers and said, The child is not and I, where shall I go?
31 And they took Joseph's coat and killed a male-goat and dipped the coat in the blood. 32 And they sent the coat of many colors and they brought it to their father and said, We have found this. Know now whether it is your son's coat or not.
33 And he recognized it and said, It is my son's coat. An evil beast has devoured him; Joseph is without doubt torn in pieces. 34 And Jacob tore his garments and put sackcloth upon his loins and mourned for his son many days.
