18 And I said to their sons in the wilderness, Walk you* not in the statutes of your* fathers. Neither observe their ordinances, nor defile yourselves with their idols.
19 I am Jehovah your* God. Walk in my statutes and keep my ordinances and do them,
20 and sanctify my Sabbaths and they will be a sign between me and you*, that you* may know that I am Jehovah your* God.
21 But the sons rebelled against me. They did not walk in my statutes, nor kept my ordinances to do them, which if a man does, he will live in them. They profaned my Sabbaths. Then I said I would pour out my wrath upon them, to accomplish my anger against them in the wilderness.
