MKJV(i) 3 And Moses said to the people, Remember this day in which you came out of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. For Jehovah brought you out from this place by the strength of His hand. There shall be no leaven eaten. 4 You are going out this day in the month Abib. 5 And it shall be when Jehovah shall bring you into the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, which He swore to your fathers to give you, a land flowing with milk and honey, that you shall keep this service in this month. 6 You shall eat unleavened bread seven days, and in the seventh day shall be a feast to Jehovah. 7 Unleavened bread shall be eaten seven days. And there shall be no leavened bread seen with you, nor shall there be leaven seen with you in all your borders. 8 And you shall tell your son in that day, saying, This is because of what Jehovah did for me when I came out from Egypt. 9 And it shall be a sign to you upon your hand, and for a memorial between your eyes, that Jehovah's Law may be in your mouth. For the Lord has brought you out of Egypt with a strong hand. 10 You shall therefore keep this law in its season from year to year.
