Or how can they hear without a preacher? ¹⁵ Or how can they preach, if they are not sent forth? As it is written, How becoming are the feet of those who preach peace, and of those who bring good tidings. ¹⁶ For all have not heard the preaching of the gospel. For Isaiah said, My LORD, who has believed the echoes of our voice? ¹⁷ So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. ¹⁸ But I say, Have they not heard? And behold the echoes of their voices have gone out over all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.
