And he said, They have given myriads to David, and to me they have given thousands. And is there more to him, except the kingdom? ⁹ And from that day forward Saul was watching David. ¹⁰ And on the next day it happened that the evil spirit from God came on Saul. And he prophesied in the midst of the house; and David was playing with his hand, as he did day by day. And Saul's spear was in his hand. ¹¹ And Saul threw the spear, and said, I will strike David, even to the wall. And David twice drew back from his face.
