Leviticus 25:24-28 And in all the land of your possession ye shall grant a redemption for the land.

25 H251 If thy brother H4134 be waxen poor [H8799] H4376 , and hath sold [H8804] H272 away some of his possession H7138 , and if any of his kin H935 come [H8804] H1350 to redeem [H8802] H1350 it, then shall he redeem [H8804] H251 that which his brother H4465 sold.

26 H376 And if the man H1350 have none to redeem [H8802] H3027 it, and himself H1767 be able H5381 [H8689] H4672 to redeem [H8804] H1353 it;

27 H2803 Then let him count [H8765] H8141 the years H4465 of the sale H7725 thereof, and restore [H8689] H5736 the overplus [H8802] H376 unto the man H4376 to whom he sold [H8804] H7725 it; that he may return [H8804] H272 unto his possession.

28 H3027 But if he H1767 be not able H4672 to restore [H8804] H7725 [H8687] H4465 it to him, then that which is sold H3027 shall remain in the hand H7069 of him that hath bought [H8802] H8141 it until the year H3104 of jubile H3104 : and in the jubile H3318 it shall go out [H8804] H7725 , and he shall return [H8804] H272 unto his possession.

ERV⁽ⁱ⁾ ²⁴ And in all the land of your possession ye shall grant a redemption for the land. ²⁵ If thy brother be waxen poor, and sell some of his possession, then shall his kinsman that is next unto him come, and shall redeem that which his brother hath sold. ²⁶ And if a man have no one to redeem it, and he be waxen rich and find sufficient to redeem it; ²⁷ then let him count the years of the sale thereof, and restore the overplus unto the man to whom he sold it; and he shall return unto his possession. ²⁸ But if he be not able to get it back for himself, then that which he hath sold shall remain in the hand of him that hath bought it until the year of jubile: and in the jubile it shall go out, and he shall return unto his possession.
