And king Rehoboam strengthened himself to go up into the chariot to flee to Jerusalem. ¹⁹ And Israel will break with the house of David even to this day. ²⁰ And it will be when all Israel heard that Jeroboam turned back, and they will send and call him to the assembly, and they will make him king over all Israel, and there was none after the house of David except the tribe of Judah alone.
