JMNT⁽ⁱ⁾ ²³ And so, with Him stepping into a boat, His disciples at once followed Him. ²⁴ Later – look and consider! – a great quaking occurred (an earthquake happened) in the midst of the lake (or: sea) so that the boat was being repeatedly covered – to the point of being hidden and swamped – by the waves. Yet He kept on sleeping (or: continued being fast asleep). ²⁵ So, approaching, they aroused Him, repeatedly saying, "O Lord (Master)! Rescue [us] (Save [us]) at once! We are progressively being destroyed and are perishing!"
