28 Wherupon the kynge toke councell, and made two calues of golde, and sayde vnto them. It is muche for you to go vp to Hierusalem. Beholde, O Israel: these are thy goddes, which brought you out of the lande of Egypte.
29 And he set the one in bethel, and the other set he in Dan.
30 And this thynge turned to synne. for the people went (because of the one) as farre as Dan.
