Godbey⁽ⁱ⁾ ¹⁴ And they having come to the multitude, the man came to Him, worshiping Him on his knees, ¹⁵ and saying, Lord, have mercy on my son, because he is a lunatic and suffers terribly: for frequently he falls into the fire, and frequently into the water. ¹⁶ And I brought him to thy disciples, and they were not able to heal him. ¹⁷ And Jesus responding said: O, faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? bring him hither to me. ¹⁸ And Jesus rebuked him, and the demon came out from him, and the child was healed from that hour. ¹⁹ Then the disciples coming to Jesus privately, said, Wherefore were we not able to cast him out? ²⁰ and Jesus says to them, On account of your unbelief. For truly I say unto you, If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible to you.
