Matthew 15:22-28

Godbey(i) 22 And behold, a Canaanitish woman having come out from those coasts, cried unto Him saying, Have mercy on me, Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is terribly demonized. 23 And He responded to her not a word; and His disciples, having come to Him, asked Him, saying, Send her away; because she cries after us. 24 And He responding said, I am not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. 25 And having come she continued to worship Him, saying, Lord, assist me. 26 He responding said, It is not good to take the children's bread and cast it to the little dogs. 27 And she said, Yea, Lord: for the little dogs eat of the crumbs falling from their master's table. 28 Then Jesus responding said to her, O woman, great is thy faith; let it be done unto thee as thou dost wish. And her daughter was healed from that hour.
