3 For I envy them who halal when I see the shalom of the wicked:
4 for there are no bands in their death: their might fattens;
5 they are neither in toil of man nor touched as humans.
6 So pomp chokes them; violence shrouds them as a masculine garment:
7 their eyes stand out with fat; they surpass the imagination of the heart:
8 they blaspheme and word evil concerning oppression; they word loftily:
9 they set their mouth against the heavens and their tongue walks through the earth.
10 So his people return here; and waters of fulness wring out to them.
11 And they say, How knows El? Is there knowledge in Elyon?
12 Behold, these are the wicked, - eternally serene who increase in valuables.
13 Surely I purify my heart in vain and wash my palms in innocency.
14 For all the day long I am touched and reproofed in the morning.
15 If I say, I scribe thus; behold, I deal covertly with the generation of your sons:
