Psalms 16

ECB(i) 1 Poem by David. Guard me, O El; for in you I seek refuge. 2 You say to Yah Veh - you, my Adonay my goodness is not to you; 3 but to the holy in the earth; and to the mighty in whom is all my delight. 4 Their contortions abound who hasten after another; I neither libate their libations of blood; nor lift their names to my lips. 5 Yah Veh is the portion of my allotment and of my cup; you uphold my pebble: 6 the lines fall to me in pleasure; yes, I have a glorious inheritance. 7 I bless Yah Veh who counsels me; also in the night my reins discipline me: 8 I set Yah Veh continually in front of me; because he is at my right, I totter not: 9 so my heart cheers and my honor twirls; and my flesh tabernacles confidently. 10 For you neither forsake my soul in sheol; nor give your Mercied One to see the pit of ruin: 11 you have me know the path of life; at your face is satisfying cheerfulness; at your right are pleasures in perpetuity.
