5 He sends angels to Bilam the son of Beor to Pethor, by the river of the land of the sons of his people, to call him, saying, Behold, a people comes from Misrayim: and behold, they cover the eye of the earth and they settle in front of me:
6 go now therefore, I beseech you, curse me this people; for they are too mighty for me: perhaps I prevail to smite them - to drive them from the land: for I know that whom you bless is blessed and whom you curse is cursed.
