Joshua 2:12-19 And now I beseech you, oath to me by Yah Veh, surely I worked you mercy, that you also work mercy to the house of my father, and give me a true sign:

ECB⁽ⁱ⁾ ¹² And now I beseech you, oath to me by Yah Veh, surely I worked you mercy, that you also work mercy to the house of my father, and give me a true sign: ¹³ that you save alive my father and my mother and my brothers and my sisters and all they have, and rescue our souls from death. ¹⁴ And the men say to her, Our soul dies for yours, if you tell not this word; and in giving, when Yah Veh gives us the land, we work mercy and truth with you. ¹⁵ Then she descends them by a cord through the window: for her house is on the wall and she settles on the wall. ¹⁶ And she says to them, Go to the mountain, lest the pursuers meet you; and hide yourselves three days, until the pursuers return: and afterward go your way. ¹⁷ And the men say to her, We are innocent of this your oath which you had us oath. ¹⁸ Behold, when we come into the land, bind this cord of scarlet thread in the window whereby you descended us: and gather your father, and your mother, and your brothers, and all the household of your father to your house: ¹⁹ and so be it, whoever goes outside the doors of your house, his blood is on his head, and we are innocent: and whoever is in the house with you, if any hand is on him, his blood is on our head:
