John 15:2-6 Every branch in me that bears not fruit he takes away: and every branch that bears fruit, he purifies to bear much more fruit.

ECB⁽ⁱ⁾ ² Every branch in me that bears not fruit he takes away: and every branch that bears fruit, he purifies to bear much more fruit. ³ Already you are pure through the word I spoke to you. ⁴ Exactly as the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abide in the vine; thus neither can you unless you abide in me. ⁵ I AM the vine, you are the branches: whoever abides in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit: for apart from me you can do naught. ⁶ Unless anyone abides in me, he is cast as a branch and withers; and men gather them and cast them into the fire and burn them.
