O Yah Veh, are not your eyes on trustworthiness? you smite them, and they writhe not; you finish them off, and they refuse to take correction: they toughen their faces as a rock; they refuse to return.
And I - I say, Surely these are poor; they folly: for they know neither the way of Yah Veh nor the judgment of their Elohim.
I go to the great and word to them - for they know the way of Yah Veh and the judgment of their Elohim: surely these altogether broke the yoke; they tore the bonds.
So a lion from the forest smites them; a wolf from the plains ravages them; a leopard watches over their cities; every one who comes out thence is torn - because their rebellions abound by the myriads and their apostasies are mighty.
How forgive I you for this? Your sons forsake me, and oath by them who are non-elohim: when I oath them, they adulterize and troop in the whore houses:
they wander as nourished horses; every man sounds after the woman of his friend.
Visit I not for these? - an oracle of Yah Veh and avenge I not my soul on such a goyim as this?
