Jeremiah 5:3-9 יהוה O LORD, עיניך thine eyes הלוא not לאמונה upon the truth? הכיתה thou hast stricken אתם ולא them, but they have not חלו grieved; כליתם thou hast consumed מאנו them, they have refused קחת to receive מוסר correction: חזקו harder פניהם they have made their faces מסלע than a rock; מאנו they have refused לשׁוב׃ to return.

H5221 הכיתה thou hast stricken H853 אתם H3808 ולא them, but they have not H2342 חלו grieved; H3615 כליתם thou hast consumed H3985 מאנו them, they have refused H3947 קחת to receive H4148 מוסר correction: H2388 חזקו harder H6440 פניהם they have made their faces H5553 מסלע than a rock; H3985 מאנו they have refused H7725 לשׁוב׃ to return.

4 H589 ואני Therefore I H559 אמרתי said, H389 אך Surely H1800 דלים poor; H1992 הם these H2973 נואלו they are foolish: H3588 כי for H3808 לא not H3045 ידעו they know H1870 דרך the way H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H4941 משׁפט the judgment H430 אלהיהם׃ of their God.

5 H1980 אלכה I will get H413 לי אל me unto H1419 הגדלים the great men, H1696 ואדברה and will speak unto H853 אותם H3588 כי them; for H1992 המה they H3045 ידעו have known H1870 דרך the way H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H4941 משׁפט the judgment H430 אלהיהם of their God: H389 אך but H1992 המה these H3162 יחדו have altogether H7665 שׁברו broken H5923 על the yoke, H5423 נתקו burst H4147 מוסרות׃ the bonds.

6 H5921 על over H3651 כן H5221 הכם shall slay H738 אריה a lion H3293 מיער out of the forest H2061 זאב them, a wolf H6160 ערבות of the evenings H7703 ישׁדדם shall spoil H5246 נמר them, a leopard H8245 שׁקד shall watch H5921 על H5892 עריהם their cities: H3605 כל every one H3318 היוצא that goeth out H2007 מהנה thence H2963 יטרף shall be torn in pieces: H3588 כי because H7231 רבו are many, H6588 פשׁעיהם their transgressions H6105 עצמו are increased. H4878 משׁבותיהם׃ their backslidings

7 H335 אי How H2063 לזאת thee for this? H5545 אסלוח shall I pardon H5545 לך H1121 בניך thy children H5800 עזבוני have forsaken H7650 וישׁבעו me, and sworn H3808 בלא by no H430 אלהים gods: H7650 ואשׂבע H853 אותם H5003 וינאפו they then committed adultery, H1004 ובית houses. H2181 זונה by troops in the harlots H1413 יתגדדו׃ and assembled themselves

8 H5483 סוסים horses H2109 מיזנים fed H7904 משׁכים in the morning: H1961 היו They were H376 אישׁ every one H413 אל after H802 אשׁת wife. H7453 רעהו his neighbor's H6670 יצהלו׃ neighed

9 H5921 העל for H428 אלה these H3808 לוא Shall I not H6485 אפקד visit H5002 נאם saith H3068 יהוה the LORD: H518 ואם and H1471 בגוי a nation H834 אשׁר on such H2088 כזה as this? H3808 לא shall not H5358 תתנקם be avenged H5315 נפשׁי׃ my soul
