Jeremiah 34:13-16 Thus says Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El: I cut a covenant with your fathers in the day I brought them from the land of Misrayim

ECB⁽ⁱ⁾ ¹³ Thus says Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El: I cut a covenant with your fathers in the day I brought them from the land of Misrayim - from the house of servants, saying, ¹⁴ At the end of seven years every man sends away his brother - a Hebrew sold to you - who serves you six years: send him away liberated from you: and your fathers neither hearkened to me, nor spread their ear. ¹⁵ And today you turn and work straight in my eyes in calling out liberty - every man to his friend; and you cut a covenant at my face in the house on which my name is called: ¹⁶ and you turn and profane my name: and every man has his servant and every man his maid to whom he spread liberty at their soul, to return, and bring them into subjection being for servants and for maids.
